I am a visual artist working in video, drawing, photography and installation, often using place specific vegetation as inspiration. I work from my artist studio, in a large town on the west coast of Ireland. My recent projects explore contemporary interpretations of folklore, plants dyes, foraging and growing. I'm interested in making works that sometimes do not last, or that might fade with time. Using plants found in my immediate landscape, I aim to transpose their qualities into a self fabricated folklore feminism. My studio practice sits alongside my work with groups, and I often travel throughout Ireland to work. You can follow me on Instagram for regular updates.
